Weekly Pool Service
The whole point of a pool is that it's ready when you are. Same day every week, your pool gets a thorough top-to-bottom visit — and a photo report hits your inbox before I'm out of the driveway.
See everything in a visit ↓Hi, I'm Chad. Here's my promise:
I run First Light Pool Care, and I take care of everything — the chemistry, the filter pressure, the leaves that blew in overnight — so you never have to think about your pool. You just get to be in it.
This goes straight to my phone — not a call center. I read every one and reply fast.
What I do
I'd rather be exceptional at four than adequate at a dozen. Everything your pool needs falls into one of these.
The whole point of a pool is that it's ready when you are. Same day every week, your pool gets a thorough top-to-bottom visit — and a photo report hits your inbox before I'm out of the driveway.
See everything in a visit ↓Pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells, automation — I diagnose before I prescribe. If a $40 capacitor will save your pump, that's what I'll quote, not a new pump. And if something truly needs replacing, I'll explain why and fix it at a fair price.
Green pools happen — it's just chemistry, and chemistry is fixable. Tell me what's going on and I'll send back a plan and a price. Most pools are blue again in days, not weeks.
The first 30 days decide how your finish looks for the next 20 years. Fresh plaster needs sequenced chemistry, patient brushing, and someone watching the numbers like a hawk. That someone should probably be the guy who does this for fun.
Meet your pool guy
First light is that moment you look out at the backyard with your coffee, before the day gets loud. If I've done my job, what you see is glass — clean, balanced, ready. That's the standard I named the company after.
I'm a water-chemistry nerd and I own it. I test every visit and dose to what your water actually reads — never a scoop of "eh, that's probably enough." Balanced water isn't just prettier. It's gentler on skin and swimsuits, and it extends the life of your equipment.
First Light is my family's business, and West Austin is home. You'll always know exactly who's at your pool — right now, that's me — and I treat your backyard like it's mine.
— Chad
Someone who knows your pool — its quirks, its trees, its history — not a stranger each week.
A photo report with readings lands in your inbox every single visit.
All the boring paperwork is in order — one more thing you never think about.
One flat monthly rate. If I stop earning it, you can fire me by text.
How it works
Three steps, about five minutes — and then the pool becomes my problem.
Form, call, or text. I'll come take a look in person and talk through what it actually needs — free, no pressure, no 45-minute pitch.
Your quote is a flat monthly rate built for your pool. No tiers, no contracts, no surprises hiding in month three.
Until you're floating in it. I show up every week, keep the chemistry perfect, and send the photo report to prove it.
Every visit, no shortcuts
This isn't a "splash-and-dash" route stop. Every week, your pool gets the full checklist — because skipping steps is how pools drift green.

Straight answers
Nope — most visits happen while you're at work. A gate code (or an introduction to the dog) is all I need, and the photo report tells you I was there.
Right now, yes — every pool, every visit, it's me. As First Light grows I'll bring on help, but two things won't change: you'll always know exactly who's coming, and the standard they're held to is mine.
Every pool is different — size, trees, equipment, how much it gets used — so I price each one individually after I've seen it. What I can promise: one flat monthly rate, no contract, and the quote is free.
Usually days, not weeks — it depends how far gone it is. Text a photo to (512) 761-5542 and I'll tell you exactly what it'll take before I touch it.
Yes — and timing matters. The first 30 days after plaster decide how the finish ages, so ideally call me before the pool is even filled. Already full? Call me today.
Tell me — you have my number, and it rings me, not a help desk. I'd rather hear it and fix it than lose you. And since there's no contract, I have to earn your business every single month.
Where I work
I keep my route tight on purpose — fewer windshield hours means more minutes at each pool. Based in West Austin, serving the neighborhoods around it.
On the edge of the map? Ask anyway — worst case, I'll point you to someone good.
